Terms of Use

1.Introduction

These Terms of Use ("these Terms") set out the conditions for using Funnelry ("the app"). By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

2.What the app does

The app is an iPhone app that lets app developers view their own App Store Connect data. Its main features are:

  • The funnel (impressions, product page views, downloads, purchases and trial starts, paid) and its conversion rates
  • Sources and countries
  • Revenue and subscriptions, and widgets
  • Milestone badges, and sharing them as images
  • Reading and replying to ratings and reviews

The numbers the app shows are based on data Apple provides through App Store Connect. Because of reporting delays and how Apple aggregates data, they may not match the numbers shown in App Store Connect.

Typical conversion rates, AI analysis, milestone forecasts and before-and-after impact are for reference only. Their accuracy, and the results of any action taken based on them, are not guaranteed.

The app is not provided or endorsed by Apple Inc. App Store and App Store Connect are trademarks of Apple Inc.

3.Free and paid features

  • The app is free to download, and some features can be used for free
  • Additional features are offered through the paid "Funnelry Premium" ("Premium"). What Premium includes is shown on the in-app purchase screen
  • Premium features may be added or changed to improve the app

3.1 Purchases and payment

  • Premium is an auto-renewable subscription (yearly or monthly) purchased through in-app purchase on Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase
  • The price is the amount shown on the purchase screen
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period, and the renewal is charged, unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • If the yearly plan comes with a free trial, the yearly price is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends
  • If the monthly plan comes with a special first-month price, the regular monthly price is charged from the second month
  • You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings (your Apple Account in the iPhone Settings app). Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription
  • Refunds follow the methods and conditions set by Apple. The developer cannot process refunds
  • Premium you have purchased can be reactivated with the same Apple Account using "Restore Purchases"

4.Conditions of use

4.1 Who can use the app

The app may be used by people who have an App Store Connect account and a legitimate right to view its data.

4.2 Managing your API key

  • The app requires an App Store Connect API key. You are responsible for creating and managing your API key
  • Your API key is stored in your device's keychain. Before giving up your device, remove it with "Disconnect" in Settings
  • If you suspect your API key has leaked, revoke it in App Store Connect

4.3 Prohibited conduct

The following are prohibited:

  • Anything that violates laws or public order and morals
  • Retrieving App Store Connect data you are not authorized to view
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the app
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling or disassembling the app
  • Copying, modifying or distributing the app
  • Using paid features by unauthorized means
  • Any other conduct the developer considers inappropriate

5.Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the app and its content (text, images, logos, icons and so on) belong to the developer or their respective rights holders.

6.Disclaimers

6.1 Providing the app

  • The app is provided as is, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, completeness or accuracy
  • Except in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of the developer, the developer is not liable for any damage arising from the use of the app

6.2 Data

  • The app shows data retrieved from Apple's App Store Connect API and other Apple services. If Apple's services stop or change, the app may become unable to retrieve or show data
  • Records you create (milestones, notes, watched competitor apps and so on) are stored on your device. If they are lost because your device breaks or is lost, or the app is deleted, the developer cannot restore them

6.3 Changes, interruptions and discontinuation

  • The app may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or to fix problems
  • The app may be discontinued. If so, the developer will announce it in the app in advance where possible

7.Privacy

How information is handled is described in the separate Privacy Policy.

8.Distribution on the App Store

If you obtained the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA) also applies in addition to these Terms. Where these Terms and the standard EULA conflict, the standard EULA prevails for matters related to distribution on the App Store.

9.Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute relating to these Terms.

10.Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be changed as needed. Important changes will be announced in the app. If you continue to use the app after a change, you agree to the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
